It is exciting to have the holidays just around the corner.  So exciting that Mason has taken it upon himself to create a special new hairdo.  Wow.

Lyell, understanding the amount of decoration the season requires, has taken it upon himself to convert the coat closet into his own private art studio.  In the seasonal spirit of sharing, the signs he has affixed to the door read "Its Good, Its Great, Its So Fun, Come on In!"  Who could refuse an invitation such as that?!

We have yet to see any snow here in Bougy, so we put on our hiking boots and walked up to "La Dole."  Here you can share with us the first snowball of the season.  There were many more...

Both Lyell and Mason had school plays for the holidays.  Here, Lyell accompanies the music instructor with the score for the "Spectacle" his class put on.  It was a great show, and he played a part in addition to helping out with the music.  Not a dry eye in the house...

Now I dont know whether this counts as getting ready for the holidays, but Mason and I built a really good tower.  Remarkably - it stayed up for nearly a week.  I think the boys are either getting responsible or boring.
