Jonkoping

After Copenhagen, we crossed over to Sweden, where our first stop was Jonkoping.  At the foot of one of the largest lakes in Sweden, it is a little town with little else.  Except a good campground and a good pool.  You will see why the pool is important in a minute.  Here, TT and the boys checked out the campground vehicles while I got dinner going.

And after dinner - of course marshmellows.  The first of the season.  Thats a happy fella.

Make that two.  Plus a happy mama.

We had an excellent night there.  The first in our tent in Europe.  And while TT and I packed up the tent and related materials the next morning, the boys found a playground.  Turns out the interest was not in the playground, but in the dust pile next to the playground.  These pictures don't do justice to exactly how filthy they were.

However, did I mention that Jonkoping has a great pool?  We took them straight to the pool.  OK - the people who ran the pool made us sign something guaranteeing the boys would hit the shower first.  But after about three hours in the pool the boys were clean again.
