Copenhagen

Copenhagen is beautiful.  But dangerous!  Every street has a special lane for the bikes.  And they assume you know to look out for them.  Fortunately, we were able to avoid that peril and find a nice bridge.

Oh - and a nice ice cream cone.  Or two.  Actually - and I might as well get this out early on in this odyssey, we ate a lot of ice cream cones.  Probably one a day.  The boys would have eaten more, but a parent has to draw the line somewhere.

No trip to Copenhagen is complete without a trip to Tivoli.  It is a huge, high-end outdoor amusement park.  The boys liked the ferris wheel.  It looked too scary for me.

The boats were more my speed.  Of course I didn't get to drive very much, but Lyell was pretty good at bumping the other boats so I didn't mind.

It was also a trip about learning.  Here, Mason is about to learn that all-important rule about never eating anything larger than your head.

Tums, anyone?  All is well that ends well, though.  And after Tivoli, we retired to the Kong Arthur with the knight in armor in the entryway.  Could have been the highlight of Copenhagen for the boys.
